New Electric Gates

Hi all!!

Wow! Things have been slightly mad in the Blogme house recently, lots of changes and big movements and new arrivals…..no we have got new electric gates!! haha

We’ve been planning them for a while and finally plumped for a really nice set of wooden gates that fit the surroundings and give us some really good privacy and i love them. Every time i come into my home i love the feeling…nay the power of just pressing a button in my car and i can move nearly 2 ton of weight easily! Its great.

What do you think?

I love the design and was stunned by what you can do these days with wooden gates. I thought i would have to get a boring wooden gate, you know the usual design, straight and boring. Or get a fancy wrought iron design, this would have been fine but we wanted the extra privacy the wooden gates give you, as you can see we can sun bathe in the garden family come round and play and we have no problems with people looking in.

North Valley Forge made them for us, they were that impressed with them they are using the images for their own publications! lol i couldn’t believe it when they said. Because they have some amazing stuff in their showroom that we couldn’t believe. Really nice people too and so helpful. I would recommend to anybody wanting electric gates.

Fantasy Football

Hello,

I love football as you may have seen via my blogs but, you know the saying things matter more when there’s money on it and its true! I don’t bet via betting sites much I have the odd dabble if I’m watching in town or something but I do it through work we have  fantasy football league. We use the Sky Sports Fantasy Football league and faac in hell am i addicted I think I’m on it everyday plotting and thinking about who will do what this week, looking at the games and trying to predict an outcome then trying to find will score and who will set the other up etc.

I heard About Joe Cole!

Now that’s all well and good but here comes the reason I don’t bet… I have got to be the most unlucky person in the world, no matter who i have put a bet on or placed in my team placed in my team they just seem to stop playing. Well put it this way when Joe Cole signed for Liverpool (I have a little soft spot for Liverpool by the way) I thought brill good new manager good keeper, strong flair player and good strikers recipe for a good team! Joe Cole got sent off first game and liverpool didn’t win a game for weeks and because you only have a few subs per week/month/season I was stuck!! Typical!

Now we have a £2 a week pot for everybody, comes to about £14 quid a week, top of the table after weekend wins all. not bad but I’ve come 2nd 3 times and all the rest i think i was bottom or very near by! Again typical! I’m not a bitter person!!!!!!! haha

Anybody else had the same experience? I’d love to hear about it because it would make me feel a whole lot better! haha

P.S. how poor were England last night! god almighty! Andy Townsend wanted to say Cappelo’s not got much time and I would echo that if he said it, but we won’t sack him coz we’ll have to pay him so ridiculous amount of money to go! His days are numbered for me.

Watching Chealsea last night and the game reminded me of a sunday league kick about in some parts. Spartak Moscow were suprisingly more than a little bit hopeless. The first half was slightly tighter but you alway knew Chealsea were a few passes away from scoring a few goals.

Anelka openned the scoring with a quite unbelievable finish from a very tight angle, but the keeper really should have had the angle covered. The pressure rose as Drogba scored 5 minuets after, then he set up Ivanovich from a free kick. Spartak Moscow pulled one back befor Ivanovic added his second goal to make it 4-1.

Chea

lsea looked the best team throughout and the most worrying part was not happening at Stamford Bridge. Marseille beat Zillina 0-7 at Zillina, and Zillina are coming to play chealsea later this month at Stamford Bridge! we could be looking at a cricket score. If i was a beting man i’d be putting a few quid on Chealsea scoring 10+ goals (in fact i might just do it). I’ll let you all know how it turns out.

Roll on the knockout stages I say because some of these games are like friendlies.

Beady Eye – New Single This Month!

I’m  a huge Oasis fan and loved everything they have ever done, why would you not?

But i’m very very excited to hear that Liam‘s new band Beady Eye is going to release its new single sometime this month!!! Get in there! The live gigs are going to be something a bit special aswell i’ve got a feeling there gonna be mega! Liam cannot fail to dissapoint.

I went to Amsterdam at the begining of 2009 to watch Oasis and it was possibly the best gig only because me and my mate were down at the front (which wasn’t hard) I was there with my Man City shirt on jumping around like a crazed man after eating…..well….i’m in Amsterdam god damn it! haha. Liam was looking right at us he knew we were fron up t’north, and seemed to be loving it as we were. Never been so close to the legend, just wish i could chat to the bloke for a bit. Think we’d get on haha. well maybe one day when we get signed, i can dream can’t I?

And Noel if your reading this which i’m sure you are, ha, can’t wait for your stuff to man but your taking your time!

Gareth Bale!

I’m not a Tottenham fan by a long way im a Burnley Fan, infact they beat us the year we went up to the prem in the semi-final of the league cup so i don’t really like them, haha, but….

I was watching the footy yesterday and i could see him itching to get forward and boy did he do that, he’s unbelievable! Maicon (possible the best right back in the world) was torn apart by this lad from Wales!!

His pace is unbelievable and sustained (when he booted ball past Lucio it was a joke!), he has a good touch and he can cross! what more does any team need from a wing-back. I hope he doesn’t go to one of the so called “top” teams as he will do fine there for a few years yet. Michael Salgado on Sky hinted that real madrid have looked at him and he would suit their style of play, as they don’t usually play with a flat back 4, they have very advanced wing-backs.

But like most young english lads think he would be ruined over there, him and harry obviously have a good understanding what they want from each other and long may it continue. Just wish he was english for god sake! Damn It!
